You will deliver goods from a distribution centre to supermarkets in the region. The role offers around €4,500 per month based on approximately 50 hours per week, an hourly wage of €19.46 gross per hour, bonuses for weekend and overtime work, and single-room accommodation is provided.
Job Overview
About the Logistics Company
You will work for a well-established logistics company with more than 100 years of experience in retail distribution. The company started as a small family business and has grown into a modern transport organisation with around 500 trucks and 850 professional drivers.
The company specialises in store and pallet distribution. Its daily operation is built around reliability, safety, route discipline, and long-term cooperation with drivers.
This vacancy is suitable for experienced CE drivers who want a serious retail distribution role with strong planning, a modern fleet, onboarding support, and enough working hours throughout the year.
How the Store Distribution Route Works
As a CE Truck Driver in store distribution, you deliver goods from the distribution centre to supermarkets in the region. A typical working day is organised in a clear route rhythm: you leave the distribution centre, deliver to two stores, return to the distribution centre, and repeat this cycle several times.
On a normal day, you deliver to around six stores. The trailers are loaded and unloaded for you, so your main focus is safe driving, accurate docking, reversing, punctual delivery, and professional communication with the transport team.
The day before your shift, you receive your start time before 12:00. By 16:00, you know your full schedule, including loading, delivery, and finishing times. This gives you clear planning before the working day starts.
Training, Test Drive and Onboarding
Before you start driving independently, you complete a test drive with a mentor driver. This takes around half a day and is used to check your docking, reversing, safety awareness, and suitability for store distribution work.
During your first week, you ride along with an experienced driver for five days. This helps you learn the routes, store procedures, company rules, delivery rhythm, and safety expectations before you drive alone.
After the onboarding period, you drive independently, but you still receive support from the team. This makes the vacancy attractive for CE drivers who want structure, training, and clear expectations from the beginning.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive CE truck routes from the distribution centre to supermarkets in the region.
- Deliver to around six stores per day, depending on the route and planning.
- Follow the store distribution cycle: distribution centre, two stores, return to the distribution centre, and repeat.
- Dock and reverse safely at supermarket delivery locations and loading areas.
- Follow loading, delivery, and finishing schedules provided before the shift.
- Drive calmly and professionally in traffic, even during busy periods.
- Follow company safety rules, store procedures, route instructions, and transport planning.
- Communicate professionally with planners, mentor drivers, store staff, and the transport team.
- Represent the company as a reliable CE distribution driver.
Working Hours and Schedule
This CE Truck Driver job offers plenty of working hours, with a standard workweek of around 50 hours. Work is usually from Monday to Friday, and working six days per week can also be possible.
You can choose a preferred starting time: 01:00, 05:00, or 11:00. System work is also possible, depending on planning and the final work arrangement.
Every three weeks, you can choose your preferred work schedule. Weekend and public holiday work is sometimes required, but when this happens, another day off during the week can be arranged.
This schedule is best for drivers who want consistent hours, high earning potential, and a distribution role where planning is communicated clearly before the shift.
