Celoria Recruitment Solutions · Compare the complete offer
Compare CNC Job Offers in the Netherlands
Compare three published machining packages by machine, control, programming responsibility, pay and practical conditions. Find the work that matches what you can do independently.
An “operator” title can still include programming and setup. These three offers cover Hurco milling, Okuma turning and Heidenhain milling/programming. Match the actual duties to your experience before comparing the weekly figure.
They are selected Celoria packages, not a ranking of all CNC work in the Netherlands. Open each full vacancy and confirm availability, worksite and written terms with a recruiter. For other machines and junior opportunities, use the CNC jobs overview.
Three machining profiles
Which machine work fits your experience?
CNC milling operator
Program, set up and operate milling machines using Hurco control.
- Hurco experience required
- One-shift schedule
- Free single-room accommodation
CNC lathe operator
Lathe work combining machine setup, programming and part inspection.
- Okuma experience highlighted
- One-shift schedule
- Single-room accommodation; cost to confirm
CNC miller programmer
Independent programming and precision milling on small production series.
- Heidenhain programming required
- At least three years of 3-axis milling experience

Compare CNC machines, responsibilities and conditions
Keep unresolved details on your question list. “Provided” does not automatically mean free, and a missing cost is not €0.

Describe your level accurately
What can you do independently?
Run an established process
Explain how you load parts, monitor production, check dimensions and report problems. Say which adjustments you make yourself and when you need a setter.
Prepare a new job
Describe tooling, workholding, offsets, setup, first-piece checks and how you bring a new part into production. Give an example from recent work.
Create or change programs
Distinguish editing an existing program from creating one independently. Name the control, machine axes and any CAM software you actually use.
All three offers include setup and programming duties. If your experience is mainly running prepared machines, discuss a suitable operator or junior role through the CNC hub. Do not assume the word “operator” makes these entry-level jobs.
Hurco experience is explicit in the milling offer. The Okuma description highlights that machine background; confirm the exact acceptance of other lathe experience. The Heidenhain offer requires independent programming and lists 3-, 4- and 5-axis machines. Ask which machines and programming tasks you would personally handle.
Compare what reaches your budget
Check pay, shifts and deductions together
Start with the agreed working week
The Hurco and Okuma descriptions state 40 hours and one shift. For Heidenhain, confirm the roster and shift times alongside the 40-hour pay basis.
Ask whether your amount assumes overtime or allowances. A possible extra shift is different from guaranteed weekly pay.
Get a clear net-pay breakdown
All three quote net weekly amounts. Ask which housing, insurance, pension or transport deductions have already been applied and which bills remain separate.
Count each cost once. Check holiday allowance and paid-leave arrangements as part of the written package.
A programmer title does not establish a universal pay premium, and these examples are not a national salary average. For broader pay context, read the CNC salary guide.
Check the room, then its costs
Single-room accommodation means your own bedroom; facilities may be shared. Confirm the address, rent, utilities, deposit and what happens if your assignment changes.
The Hurco description explicitly lists free rent. The Okuma and Heidenhain accommodation arrangements need their costs confirmed. Do not carry the free-rent condition from one offer into another.
Make the commute practical
Hurco lists rental-bike or company-car options and a travel allowance for own-car users. Okuma treats a licence and own transport as a plus; agree a workable commute. Heidenhain lists provided transport, with the method and charges to confirm.
Ask about fuel, vehicle use, reimbursement and shift times. An available company car is not automatically a free car for personal use.
Take these questions to your recruiter
Before accepting a CNC job offer
- Machine fit: milling or turning, machine model, control, axes, materials and part sizes.
- Responsibility: setup, tool selection, program editing or creation, inspection and required independence.
- Assessment: drawings, tolerances, measuring tools, language level and any practical test or certificates.
- Pay and time: net amount, paid hours, shifts, allowances, overtime and all deductions.
- Practical terms: room and commute costs, exact worksite, employing organisation, contract and confirmed start arrangements.
Check your right to work for the actual opportunity. Consult the Dutch government’s work-rights guidance. This comparison confirms no visa-sponsorship arrangement.
How this comparison is prepared
The linked individual Celoria job descriptions supply the package details. We show missing costs and requirements as questions, keep the different machine profiles visible and avoid predicting a personal net-pay result.
Celoria acts as a recruitment intermediary. The employing organisation assesses candidates and confirms the employment offer. An enquiry or application does not guarantee selection.
Package descriptions reviewed 28 October 2026. Availability and terms may change; confirm the written offer before travelling or committing.
Questions before applying
CNC job offer comparison FAQ
Are these basic machine-operator jobs?
All three descriptions include setup and programming responsibilities. If you mainly run a prepared machine, explain that clearly and ask about an opportunity matching your current level. An operator title alone does not establish beginner suitability.
Can I apply with a different control system?
Describe the controls you know and your actual setup and programming work. Hurco experience is an explicit requirement in its offer, while the Okuma description needs its exact machine-experience requirement confirmed. The Heidenhain role requires that programming background. Transferability must be assessed for the particular job.
Does the Heidenhain role require five-axis experience?
The listed machines include three, four and five axes. The stated experience requirement is at least three years with three-axis milling, plus Heidenhain and independent programming. Confirm the machines and tasks you would be assigned rather than assuming an unstated five-axis qualification requirement.
Do I need CAD/CAM software experience?
No specific CAM package is confirmed for these three offers. Ask whether programs are created at the control, edited from existing programs or prepared offline. Include any real CAM experience in your CV, with the software and tasks you performed.
Which CNC job pays the most?
The published ranges overlap and depend on the individual package and candidate. Compare the paid hours, allowances and deductions in your written offer. Neither the controller name nor the programmer title automatically determines a higher personal salary.
Does net weekly pay cover all my living costs?
Ask which charges have already been deducted and which bills are separate. Check housing, insurance, commuting, holiday allowance and paid leave. Do not deduct a cost twice or treat an unspecified cost as zero.
Is accommodation free for all three jobs?
The Hurco description explicitly lists free rent. Okuma and Heidenhain provide accommodation arrangements whose costs need confirmation. A single room means your own bedroom, with other facilities potentially shared.
Can I accept without my own car?
Agree the actual commute before accepting. Hurco lists transport options, Okuma treats own transport as a plus, and Heidenhain lists provided transport. Confirm availability, charges, any licence requirement and whether the arrangement covers your shift times.
Are all three jobs on one shift?
Hurco and Okuma explicitly describe one-shift schedules. The Heidenhain shift pattern needs confirmation. Check start and finish times, paid breaks, overtime and any shift allowance before choosing.
Do I need Dutch or is English enough?
The Heidenhain description mentions basic English. Confirm the exact workplace-language requirement for Hurco and Okuma and the level needed for drawings, instructions, safety and teamwork. Describe your actual ability when speaking to a recruiter.
What should my CNC CV include?
Name machines, controls, axes, materials, part sizes and the tolerances you have worked to. Distinguish operation, setup, program editing and independent programming. Add measuring tools, recent experience, languages, licence, transport situation and availability.
How do I apply for a particular package?
Open its full vacancy page and use that application route. For advice, contact a recruiter or send a general CNC CV naming the offer you want to discuss. Current availability, technical suitability and final conditions are confirmed during recruitment.
