About the TIG/MAG Welder Assembler Role
As a TIG/MAG Welder / Assembler, you will work on tailor-made machines, systems and process lines. These machines are used by producers in the food, dairy, pet food, feed and chemical industries for the production and handling of grains, powders and granulates.
Your main task is welding and assembling stainless steel machines according to technical drawings. Most of the welding work is TIG welding, with MAG welding used for part of the production process. Precision, clean finishing and consistent quality are important in this role.
You will work in a small, dedicated team of around 2 to 3 colleagues under the guidance of a foreman. The work is varied and suitable for welders who want to develop their skills in a modern production environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Weld and assemble stainless steel machines according to technical drawings.
- Perform TIG welding for most of the welding work, approximately 80% of the role.
- Perform MAG welding where required, approximately 20% of the role.
- Assemble machine parts, systems and process-line components accurately.
- Deliver high-quality finished products for industrial production environments.
- Work together with a small team of 2 to 3 colleagues under the guidance of a foreman.
- Check your own work for welding quality, fit, finish and accuracy.
- Stay flexible and prepared to support the team when extra effort is needed.
- Follow workplace safety rules and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience with TIG and MAG welding, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to assemble machines or components based on technical drawings.
- Experience working with stainless steel is strongly relevant for this role.
