Warehouse Worker Job – Distribution Centers

Job Responsibilities

• Picking and collecting orders using a voice picking system

• Driving an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck) to move pallets through the warehouse

• Handling goods weighing up to 20 kg repeatedly during the shift

• Working towards daily productivity and accuracy targets

• Supporting general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading when needed

Salary & allowances

• Base salary: €14.94 gross per hour (for workers 21+)

• Allowances:

  • Cold allowance: +€0.35 gross per hour (when working in Vers at 2°C)

  • Overtime: +40% on all approved overtime hours

  • Night shift bonus: +37% for night shift hours

  • Weekend bonus:

    • Saturday: +35%

    • Sunday: +100%

Shifts & working hours

• Day shift: 07:00 – 15:30 (Monday – Sunday)

• Late day shift: 08:30 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday in KW, Friday in Vers)

• Night shift: 23:00 – 07:00 (Sunday – Friday, no night shift on Saturday)

• Evening shift: 18:00 – 23:00 (Saturday)

Important: Due to high demand during Christmas and Easter, holidays are not possible in these periods.

Optional driver role

There is an optional role for drivers who transport colleagues and take care of the car:

• Approx. €25 per week fee for using the car

• Drivers receive €7.50 per week for cleaning the vehicle

• The car can also be used privately within the Netherlands (fuel and costs at own expense)

Departments

You will be assigned to one of the following departments:

Vers (Fresh / Chilled Department)

• Working in a cold environment (around 2°C)

• Picking chilled food orders using the voice system

• Operating an EPT to collect products from racks

• Working under time pressure with support from coordinators

KW (Dry Goods / General Warehouse)

• Handling non-food and dry goods

• General warehouse tasks, including order picking and loading/unloading
