Responsibilities

Order Picker Tasks

• Operate a low-level order-picking truck and Bluetooth finger scanner.
• Collect and scan food and non-food products using electronic collection carts.
• Ensure accurate product selection and quantities.
• Notify supervisors of any out-of-stock items.
• Properly place collected products in the designated expedition area.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.

Expedition Tasks

• Verify and control the quality of collected products.
• Sort, route, and scan fresh products received overnight.
• Move roll containers to loading zones.
• Identify deviations and follow the proper corrective actions.
• Transfer valuable orders to drivers using a pocket computer.

Benefits

• Starting Salary: €14.23 gross per hour (for ages 21 and older) + 10.5% holiday allowance.
• Shift Allowances:
  • Mon-Fri (4:00-6:00 & 19:00-22:00): 125%
  • Mon-Fri (22:00-4:00): 150%
  • Saturday (00:00-12:00): 150%
  • Saturday (after 12:00): 200%
  • Sundays & Bank Holidays: 200%
• Temperature Allowances:
  • Cold warehouse: + €0.49/hour
  • Freezer: + €1.19/hour

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 6 months in warehouse order picking, including using scanners and EPTs (electric pallet trucks).
• Language: Advanced English proficiency.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime if required.
• Health & Safety: Comfortable working in cooler temperatures (+4°C) and following safety protocols (e.g., no visible piercings).
• Team Skills: Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Duration: Ready to stay in the Netherlands for at least 1 year.
• Driving License: Valid driving license preferred; those with a license may need to drive company cars.

Transportation & Accommodation

• Transport Options:
  • Drivers: Car rental available at €25 net per week (includes maintenance, insurance, and fuel for work).
  • Non-drivers: Free transportation but less work preference during low-demand periods.
• Accommodation: Weekly rent between €140 and €168.60 (shared housing or hotels).
• Additional Costs:
  • Safety shoes: €20 (deducted from first salary).
  • Key deposit: €10 (deducted from first salary).
• Health Insurance: €35.58 per week (deducted from salary).

Shift Information

• Shift Types: 2 shifts; flexibility required.
• Temperature Zones: Warehouses vary in temperature (+18°C for dry storage, +4°C for fresh products).
