Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate FANUC-controlled 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines.
- Read technical drawings and prepare workpieces, workholding and tools.
- Change and set tools, and adjust machining settings as needed.
- Use precision measuring equipment to inspect dimensions and finished components.
- Work with tolerances down to 0.002 mm and carry out dimensional and quality checks.
Requirements
- Professional CNC operator or miller experience, including at least two years of professional experience on 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Hands-on experience with both 3-axis and 5-axis milling.
- FANUC control-system experience. Experience with another control system alone does not meet this requirement.
- Ability to set up and operate both machine types independently, including workpiece and tool setup.
- Confidence reading technical drawings and understanding dimensions, tolerances and machining processes.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment and tolerances down to 0.002 mm.
- Fluent English and a valid driving licence.
