Your job as a CE truck driver – Store distribution

As a CE truck driver store distribution, you are responsible for delivering goods from the distribution center to supermarkets in the region.

Your workday looks like this:

• You deliver to around six stores per day in the region.

• The trailers are loaded and unloaded for you, so you can focus on safe and on-time transport.

• The day before, you receive your start time (before 12:00), and by 16:00 you know your full schedule, including loading, delivery, and finishing times.

• Typically, you:

  • Leave the distribution center,

  • Visit two stores,

  • Return to the distribution center,

  • Repeat this cycle three times per day (six stores in total).

• Before you start independently, you’ll have a test drive with a mentor driver to check your docking and reversing skills (about half a day).

• During your first week, you ride along with an experienced driver for five days to learn the routes, procedures, and safety rules. After that, you drive on your own – but with ongoing support from the team.

System work is also possible.

• Workdays: Monday to Friday (6 days per week is also possible)

• Every three weeks, you can choose your preferred work schedule

• Weekend and public holiday work is sometimes required, but you can take another day off during the week
