Construction Fitter – Welder (MIG/MAG) Job in Netherlands with Accommodation

Are you a skilled welder with a sharp eye for quality and a passion for metalwork? We are hiring experienced Construction Fitter-Welders to join a renowned Dutch company specializing in carbon and stainless steel structures. This role focuses on the fabrication and welding of large structural elements, primarily using the MIG/MAG method.

As a fitter-welder, you'll play a crucial part in assembling and welding carbon steel components to create strong, reliable frameworks for construction projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret and follow technical schematics and blueprints

  • Fit and tack weld components into position

  • Execute high-precision MIG/MAG welding on carbon steel

  • Inspect and verify materials before and after welding

  • Maintain welding tools and ensure proper calibration

  • Support junior team members with technical guidance

  • Suggest workflow improvements and uphold safety protocols

  • Participate in daily quality control and report any deviations

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in welding or metal fitting

  • Completed welding education or certification

  • Confident in reading and applying technical drawings

  • Independent, reliable, and quality-driven

  • Open to guiding and mentoring colleagues

  • Willing to complete a practical/theoretical welding test at the company’s academy in Veghel

Salary & Benefits

  • €17.50 – €20.00 /hour, paid weekly

  • Overtime pay:

    • 128.44% for the first 2 hours on weekdays

    • 146.56% for holidays, Saturdays, and additional overtime

  • Holiday allowance included in weekly payment

  • Potential for long-term contract directly with the client
