Electrician Job in Vlaardingen (Rotterdam)

Location: Vlaardingen (Rotterdam area), Netherlands
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 40 hours per week (occasional weekend or evening work possible)
Salary: €17.50 – €19.00 gross per hour (in accordance with CAO, based on experience)

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team in Vlaardingen, near Rotterdam. In this role, you will work on a wide variety of electrical projects, from maintenance and troubleshooting to new installations. One day you might replace a fuse box, and the next you could be installing new wiring for a major project.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Replace or upgrade fuse boxes and wiring systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on-site
  • Work independently while following safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth project completion

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering diploma or proven work experience as an electrician
  • Valid driving licence (B)
  • Strong technical insight and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and quality
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Experience is preferred, but motivated starters with the right qualifications are also welcome

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary between €17.50 and €19.00 gross per hour, depending on experience (in accordance with CAO)
