Bus Driver Job with Free Accommodation

Job Description

Our partner is a professional temporary employment agency working with major public transportation companies across the Netherlands. They are currently looking for experienced Bus Drivers to join their team.

As a bus driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely, comfortably, and on time. The role offers different driving options depending on your experience, including city routes, intercity routes, and sometimes international routes. You may also transport students to schools or groups of passengers to events.

This is a varied position with stable working hours, weekly salary payments, and free accommodation.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Transporting passengers safely in all traffic and weather conditions

• Providing friendly and professional customer service

• Driving regular and/or electric buses

• Handling digital ticket sales when required

• Reporting traffic delays, technical issues, or vehicle defects

• Performing basic vehicle checks before starting your shift

Requirements

Only candidates who meet all of the following criteria will be considered:

• CV in English

• Valid EU driving licence (Category D)

• Valid Code 95 and tachograph card

• At least 1 year of bus driving experience within the last 3 years

• Willingness to provide proof of clean criminal record later in the process if required by the client

Salary and Benefits

• Net weekly salary: €600–€800

• Gross hourly wage: from €16.96, depending on experience and client, up to €20–€22/hour

• Workweek: 36–40 hours

• Overtime and shift allowances: paid weekly

• Holiday allowance: 8%, paid weekly

• Monthly net salary: starting from around €2,600

Additional Benefits

• Housing located within a maximum of 45 minutes travel time from work

• Travel allowance: from €0.22/km based on the fastest ANWB route

• Up to €200 travel cost reimbursement for first arrival to the Netherlands, paid after one month of work and based on travel proof

• For some clients, candidates who take the psychological assessment and stay at least one month receive a €250 bonus, even if they do not pass the test

Costs Deducted from Salary

• Health insurance: €38.02 per week

• Car rental (optional): €84 per week
