CNC Milling Lagun Machine Operator Job with Accommodation

Join a modern, fast-growing production team working with the latest CNC technologies. We’re looking for an experienced CNC Miller who takes pride in precision, clean workmanship, and delivering quality parts on time. Experience with Lagun milling machines (Heidenhain control system).
Job Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts to drawing and spec
- Experience with Lagun milling machines (Heidenhain control system).
- Select tools, set zero points, run first-off and perform in-process measurements
- Optimize feeds/speeds and machining strategies for quality and throughput
- Read technical and (where applicable) isometric drawings; maintain accurate documentation
- Keep your workstation neat, safe, and well organized; perform basic maintenance

Job Requirements
- 2+ years’ CNC milling experience (jobbing/medium-to-large parts a plus)
- Able to program independently at the machine
- Experience with Lagun milling machines and Heidenhain controls preferred
- Other controls also welcome if you’re keen to switch; Heidenhain upskilling provided
- Solid drawing literacy, measurement skills (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
