Car Mechanic Job in the Netherlands

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using specialized diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn-out vehicle parts.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety and health protocols.

Job Conditions:

• Salary: €500 - €650 net per week, depending on experience (includes deductions for accommodation and health insurance).
• Accommodation: Provided in houses, summer houses, or bungalow parks. Rent: €100 per week.
• Health Insurance: €35.59 per week.
• Transport:
  • Arranged by the agency. Cost: €18.75 per week.
  • Bike: If the distance allows and you choose to bike, you receive an €8.75 discount per week.
  • Electric Bike: Provides a €3.75 credit per week.
  • Company Car: Free for drivers who transport at least one colleague; fuel costs are shared among passengers.
  • Private Car Use: Fuel reimbursement of €0.23/km if driving your own vehicle. Covebo contributes €0.10/km if the round trip exceeds 60 km.
• Dutch employment contract with full social guarantees.

Requirements:

• A CV in English is required to apply.
• At least one year of proven experience as a car technician.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of engine systems, electrical systems, brakes, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
• Experience with hybrid cars is a big plus.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure cars are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulations.
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities.
• Availability for long-term employment in The Netherlands.
