Autoschade De Kade is a professional, customer-focused auto body repair shop in the Netherlands, known for high-quality repair work, modern equipment, and a skilled team. They specialize in vehicle damage repair, refinishing, and restoration, working both with private customers and insurance companies.

To strengthen their team, Autoschade De Kade is looking for an experienced Car Painter who can deliver factory-quality finishes after body repairs. You will work in a modern spray booth and preparation area, using professional tools and materials.

Your main task is to ensure that each vehicle leaves the workshop with a perfect, high-gloss finish. Color matching, careful preparation, and precise application are key to this role.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Preparing vehicle surfaces (cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking, removing rust or old paint)

  • Mixing and applying paint in line with manufacturer specifications and color codes

  • Using spray guns and other painting tools to achieve smooth, uniform finishes

  • Applying primer, basecoat, clearcoat, and any blending or spot repair techniques

  • Checking the quality of the paintwork and correcting defects (dust, runs, color differences)

  • Finishing, polishing, and detailing painted surfaces where necessary

  • Keeping the spray booth and work area clean, safe, and well organized

  • Cooperating with panel beaters and other colleagues to meet deadlines and productivity targets


Job Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who meets (most of) the following criteria:

  • Strong skills in paint mixing, color matching, and spray application

  • Experience with modern painting systems and equipment (water-based paints, HVLP guns, etc.)

  • Ability to work from work orders and follow repair and refinishing procedures

  • High attention to detail and strong focus on quality and finish

  • Good teamwork and communication skills

  • Physically fit and able to handle standing, bending, and lifting tasks

  • Certifications or formal training in automotive painting are a strong plus

  • EU citizenship (passport/ID) or a valid Dutch work permit

Accommodation

Accommodation is shared: typically 2 people per room in houses or bungalows with around 4–6 residents in total. All locations are furnished and equipped with basic household appliances needed for daily life.


Transport to and from Work

Transport between accommodation and workplace can be arranged by the agency. Details:

  • Options: bike, electric bike, or car (depending on distance and availability)

  • Standard cost: €18.75 per week, deducted from salary

Special conditions and discounts:

  • If you drive a car provided by the agency and collect/bring at least one colleague, you do not pay the weekly transport fee for the car

  • If the distance allows you to go by bike and you choose to do so, you receive a discount of €8.75 per week

  • If you use an electric bike, you receive a credit of €3.75 per week

Fuel costs (when using a car):

  • Fuel costs must be shared by all passengers in the car

  • If the distance between home and work is less than 60 km (round trip), the employee pays the fuel costs

  • If the distance between home and work exceeds 60 km (round trip), the agency (Covebo) can contribute €0.10 per km to the driver’s fuel costs
