As an experienced Car Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of passenger vehicles. Your work will range from routine servicing to complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Performing routine maintenance (service, inspections, oil changes, brakes, etc.)

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

Using modern diagnostic tools to read fault codes and solve issues efficiently

Repairing and replacing worn or damaged parts (suspension, steering, engine components, etc.)

Preparing vehicles for APK (MOT) and other safety checks where applicable

Ensuring all work meets safety, manufacturer, and quality standards

Keeping the workplace, tools, and equipment clean, safe, and in good condition

Working closely with colleagues and reporting clearly on completed work
Job Requirements

5–10 years of proven experience as a car mechanic

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques

Technical certification in automotive repair or a related field (preferred)

Experience with modern diagnostic tools and equipment

Ability to read and understand technical information and work orders

Able to work independently as well as in a team

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision

Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude

Good communication skills and commitment to safety

EU citizenship (passport/ID) or valid Dutch work permit

Transport to and from Work
Transport between accommodation and workplace can be arranged by the agency. The options and conditions are:

Means of transport: bike, electric bike, or car (depending on distance and situation)

Standard cost: €18.75 per week, deducted from salary

Driver benefit:

If you drive a company car and bring/collect at least one colleague, you don’t pay the weekly transport fee for the car

If you go by bike (and distance allows it): €8.75 discount per week

If you use an electric bike: €3.75 credit per week

Fuel costs – car use:

Fuel costs must be shared by all passengers in the car

If the distance between home and work is less than 60 km (round trip), the employee covers the fuel costs

If the distance between home and work exceeds 60 km (round trip), the agency can contribute €0.10 per km to the driver’s fuel costs
