Order Picker Job in Germany

Responsibilities:

• Picking orders using a handheld scanner and a manual trolley.
• Placing collected products according to customer orders in special baskets arranged on the trolley.
• Quality control.
• Stocking shelves.
• Maintaining general order in the warehouse.
• Labeling.
• Folding cartons.

Work is divided into three departments:

• Dry Goods Department: Products that can be stored at room temperature.
• Chilled Department: Products requiring refrigeration; the temperature is 3 degrees Celsius (employees receive jackets and gloves from the employer).
• Frozen Department (FR Truhen): Products requiring freezing (-18 degrees Celsius). The department's temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius; employees only need to open freezers and retrieve products with gloves provided.

• You will also have access to a canteen where you will be provided 3 meals per day.
• 25% for night work from 23:00 until 6:00
• 50% for Sunday work
• 100% for working on holidays
• Saturday is a regular working day, so there are no allowances. You will work a single-shift system (sometimes the second shift will be introduced, due to high demand in the warehouse), from Monday to Saturday.

• Physically fit
• No problems with walking and no chronic pain
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities
• Availability to stay longer in Germany.
