Job Responsibilities

As a Lidl Order Picker, you will:

• Operate an electric pallet truck for order picking.
• Use a voice system to efficiently pick orders.
• Inspect orders for accuracy, including verifying quantities and checking for defects.
• Prepare orders for delivery by stacking goods and wrapping pallets in plastic.
• Perform other logistics-related tasks as needed.

Key Details

• Work Environment: Freezing conditions (-20°C).
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (year-round, including Christmas).
• Salary Breakdown:
  • Base Salary: €14.16/hour.
  • Freezing Allowance (8%): €1.13/hour.
  • ADV Allowance (1.08%): €1.15/hour.
  • Total Gross Salary: €16.44/hour.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in order picking, preferably in the food industry.
• Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency.
• Driving License: A valid driving license is required, along with the willingness to transport colleagues.
• Physical Strength: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in freezing conditions.
• Adaptability: Flexible attitude and ability to work overtime or weekends if needed.
• Teamwork: Sociable and reliable, capable of working independently or in small teams.
• Attention to Detail: High standards for accuracy and quality of work.
• Availability: Willing to stay long-term in the Netherlands and work with individuals from multiple nationalities.
