MAG Welder for Shipyard Job in the Netherlands

Salary: €700 net/week (day shift) | €800 net/week (evening shift)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
We are seeking MAG Welders to join the team at Royal IHC, a leading shipbuilding company in the Netherlands. As a CO2 (MAG) Welder, you will be responsible for welding steel ship sections with precision, ensuring high-quality and durable structures. Accommodation and transport will be arranged by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multi-layer CO2 welding on steel plates and ship sections.
- Assemble ship components using ceramic-backed welding techniques.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards for shipbuilding.
- Work with detailed technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Complete welding tests upon arrival to demonstrate skills and certification.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipbuilding or ship repairs.
- Valid welding certificates (136, 138) with stamps renewed every 6 months.
- Welding certification NEN EN-ISO 9606-1 with PF or H-L045 position.
- VCA Basic Safety Certificate (or willingness to complete before starting).
- Strong technical understanding and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts (day/evening shifts alternate weekly).
- Advanced English language skills.
- Driver’s license required (transportation options available).
